This project benefited greatly from computational design. It enables me to write programs that optimize the brace's structure using topology, allowing me to save a large amount of material while maintaining its strength.
I also used the Voronoi algorithm to build the patterned padding, which allows heat to escape and keeps the brace cool at all times.
I was also able to design and manipulate numerous patterns on the brace, providing patients with beautiful designs that expressed their uniqueness.
